HOW TO BREAK INTO MODELLING

LDN Models are the premier Model Support Service in the UK.

Our commitment to helping new and aspiring models break into the modelling industry is second to none.

Whilst we are not a model agency, we can give you all sorts of invaluable training and advice that will help you to become a model.

Our expert staff have decades of experience in the fashion and modelling industry and are dedicated to training and preparing you for the modelling world.

We will discover your strengths and in doing so try to put you ahead of your competition.

FREE MODEL TEST SHOOT

Once you apply to LDN Models, our panel of experts will decide from your photograph whether they think you have model potential.

If we think you have model potential, then we will invite you to attend a Model Test Shoot at our luxurious studios in London.

At this stage we will have only seen a small photograph of you, so it is important that we see you in the flesh and discover how you look and perform in front of the camera.

During your Test Shoot you will be directed in several exciting photo shoots with various makeup, hair and costume changes.

You will have given practical model training, tailored model advice and we will tell give you information about model agencies and how to find work as a freelance model.

This is all FREE OF CHARGE.

FREE MODEL ADVICE & GUIDANCE FOR A LIFETIME

LDN Models will hold your hand every step of the way.

Once you become part of the LDN Models family (and we are all very friendly) we will continue to give you FREE advice and guidance for as long as you are modelling.

We don’t just close the door on you once you have been for your test shoot. We will continue to be there to answer your calls and emails and offer advice on how to find work in the modelling world.

LDN Models will give you advice about which agencies to approach, what to expect from modelling contracts, how to handle model castings (e.g. what to wear, how to stand out from the competition,), what fees you should expect to earn from modelling work, how to build a versatile modelling portfolio and anything else you may want to know.

LEARN HOW TO POSE

LDN Models passionately believe that there is more to modelling than simply standing in front of a camera and pouting.

Many people think that you can’t be taught how to model but at LDN Models, we think differently.

Whilst there is no doubt that you must have striking looks and a good body, there is a skill to modelling that we can teach you.

So many models have come to us for training and have since told us, that they would never have had the confidence and know how to succeed as a model, without us.

Not everyone knows how to hold themselves in front of a camera, how to find their best angle, how to walk confidentially down a catwalk, how to produce versatile shots so that you can transform from a commercial “girl or boy next door” to a high fashion fierce supermodel.

Not everyone knows how to build their portfolio, which order to put their images in, how to behave at a casting call, how to project your voice in a commercial, how to network at an industry event and in fact how to even get invited to an industry event in the first place!

LDN Models will show you how.

We are one of the only model studios to provide a model coach on set with you for your test shoot, to train and coach you, AND we offer more intense longer model courses for those who are very serious about their modelling career.

A model’s portfolio is the key to success. Your images advertise you to potential casting directors and they need to show your versatility and strengths as a model. If you do not already have a portfolio, LDN Models can create one for you during your test shoot.

At LDN Models we take our time to create unique and versatile images for you, often taking our inspiration from the latest music videos and films.

We don’t want to produce run of the mill sub standard photographs, we want your portfolio to stand out from the competition and so we try to design each shoot specifically for you.

We care about your image and take our time with you, which is why our photographs stand out as being so exceptional.

INCREDIBLE COSTUMES, HAIR, MAKEUP & LOCATIONS.

At LDN Models you will also have the use of our exciting costumes and be given the chance to model in high fashion clothes that our stylists have collected over the years from real fashion shoots.

We are one of the only studios to provide costumes for your photo shoots.

At LDN Models top stylists will design your hair and makeup several times throughout your test shoot making sure they highlight your best features.

Our studio boasts over 15 purpose built theatrical sets both inside and outside, and with this and our expert team behind you, you are sure to create some stunning photographs.
